With years of experience under our belt here at MicroFour regarding Meaningful Use and PQRS, this year we took a proactive approach with our users. Â Beginning on January 3, 2015, MicroFour had a dedicated team of specialists start calling and scheduling appointments to aide in the process of attesting for Meaningful Use and PQRS.
As opposed to previous years where we waited for people to call in, we took a different approach and began to get our users on a schedule as soon as we could so that there was plenty of time to react should there be any problems.
A Huge Success
In short, this year has been a huge success and has reduced the stress on our users and their practices.  Most people that intended to attest for MU or report PQRS came in well under the deadline making this last week far less stressful and allowing for more support technicians to be available for the final push this last week.
We have had many users tell us that the process was far less stressful than previous years.  One of our technicians just came into my office and told me of another user who was very gracious and thankful for how MicroFour aided them with MU and PQRS this year.  Below is a conversation between one of our users and one of our technicians here at MicroFour.
PracticeStudio User: Are you guys just completely covered up this final week?
MicroFour Technician: Actually, it is quite calm considering this is the the last week for attestation and reporting.  We started this process back in January this year and took a more proactive approach trying to get people moving towards attestation much earlier than prior years.
Practicestudio User: Well, I know that you guys helped us a ton.  We actually started back in January when you guys contacted us.  This got us through Meaningful Use quickly.  Then you asked if we were going to do PQRS, which we hadn’t planned on.  But since we had this extra time, it gave us the chance to get signed up with our IACS account.  Thanks for the heads up on that one!  You guys even helped us produce the file that we had to upload!
MicroFour Technician: That is great to hear, I am glad that we could help take pressure off and help get you through that process!
